Reporting charging point and billing issues

Charging point issues

You can report an issue with an electric vehicle charging point by calling ChargePlace Scotland on 0808 281 3507. Please quote the charge point ID number when reporting an issue. You can also  using their online form.

ChargePlace Scotland will log the charging point fault in their system. They notify the owner and charging point manufacturer. ChargePlace Scotland do not own any electric vehicle charging points on the network. They are not responsible for repairs and maintenance.

Payment issue

. You can now pay as you complete a charge rather than pay monthly. When you end a charging session the total cost will be debited from the bank details held on your account.

If you use ChargePlace Scotland’s pay as you go service, WebPay, or contactless, you may see a payment hold on your account. Once your charging session has ended this will be updated to the final cost of your charging session.
