Lockhartons priority parking area
In March 2026, the Council’s Traffic Regulation Orders Sub committee approved the implementation of a Priority Parking Area in the Lockharton area, named B11. The new parking controls took effect on 22 June 2026.
Parking permits
Parking permits are electronic and are available for purchase through our parking permits page.
We have written to all affected residents to provide permit information, but further details including prices, permit account instructions and terms and conditions, are available on the parking permits page.
How the priority parking area works
The priority parking area (PPA) operates from 12.30pm to 2pm, Monday to Friday, and only residents with B11 PPA parking permits, or those with visitor parking permits, are permitted to park during the hours of operation.
