Bus services
Liberton Hospital Site is serviced by Lothian bus number 31 in both directions on Lasswade Road. This runs approximately four buses an hour providing regular access to the city and beyond.
There is also three Lothian buses, number 3, 8 and 29 that services Gilmerton Road in both directions. This runs approximately 10 buses an hour to and from the city centre and beyond.
We are in contact with Lothian Buses to discuss the effect that extra homes will have on public transportation.
- Service number 3 runs in both directions from Clovenstone to Murrayfield every 12 minutes.
- Service number 8 runs in both directions from Muirhouse to Royal Infirmary every 20 minutes.
- Service number 29 runs in both directions from Silverknowes to Gorebridge every 20 minutes.
- Service number 31 runs in both directions from East Craigs to Bonnyrigg or Polton Mill every 15 minutes.
