Procurement launch to appoint development partner.
November 2024
Liberton High School workshop This allowed for the children and young people of the area to also give their opinions, thoughts and ideas for the development and wider area.
May 2024
Co-design sessions were held on the 1 and 2 May 2024. They consisted of Development Information Forum (DIF) members and other stakeholder groups. The two identical sessions were held with two groups per session. Each group focused on
- green / active travel connections
- greenspace / play spaces on site
- other uses outside of residential and massing using a physical site model.
The outcome and model designs from the co-design was shared with the DIF and the themes and other main points collected were discussed.
March / April 2024
Schools workshops were held at
- Gracemount Primary
- Gracemount High School
- St Catherines Primary
- the WP Montessori School.

January 2024
Two pop up events at peripatetic Liberton. The first was over the late afternoon and evening at the estates directly beside the development, Malbet and Carnbee Estate. The second was at Gracemount Square.
December 2023
- In person information gathering events held at Cameron Toll Shopping Center in December 2023. They were held over two days from 10am to 7pm and resulted in over 300 comments from the public and locals who live within the area.
- A dedicated consultation page on our Consultation Hub was created with the same information.
- A QR code for the consultation site was created for those in the community to share and use.
- Our social media platforms were utilized to publicise the consultation site and events.

The site was purchased from the NHS.
