Public toilets

We are investing more than £1 million on new accessible permanent toilets in Edinburgh. 

We may need to close toilets at short notice or if we need to do repairs.

  • Bruntsfield Links, (has accessible toilet) 10am to 8pm
  • Harlaw (near visitor centre) Pentlands, (has accessible toilet) 10am to 6pm
  • Hermitage of Braid, Braid Road, 9am to 4pm
  • Castle Hill, 10am to 8pm
  • Colinton, 300A Colinton Road (has accessible toilet) 10am to 7pm
  • Cramond 10am to 7pm
  • Hawes Pier, South Queensferry 10am to 8pm
  • High Street, South Queensferry (has accessible toilet) 10am to 8pm
  • Inverleith Park (Temporary), 10am to 6pm
  • Lauriston Castle 10am to 4pm
  • Meadows, Hope Park (has accessible toilet) 10am to 8pm 
  • Portobello, Pipe Lane (has accessible toilet) 10am to 8pm - closed until further notice, but temporary portaloos are available at same location
  • Portobello, Bath Street 10am to 8pm
  • Princes Street Gardens Ross Bandstand (has accessible toilet) 10am to 4:30pm 
  • Princes Street Gardens West (has accessible toilet) 10am to 8pm 
  • Saughton Park, Courtyard (has accessible toilet) Monday to Friday 9.30am to 4pm
  • Saughton Park, Winter Gardens (has accessible toilet) Monday to Friday 9am to 3.15pm Saturday/Sunday 9am to 1.30pm
  • Stockbridge, Hamilton Place 10am to 7.30pm
  • Straiton Place Park, Portobello (Temporary) 10am to 8pm
  • Taylor Gardens, (has accessible toilet) 10am to 7.30pm
