Edinburgh Council app

App update

The newest version 1.1 of the app was released on the 16th of June. If you already have the app installed, you will need to manually update the app via the app store. To do this please:

  • Go to the app store on your mobile device
  • Search for "Edinburgh Council"
  • Tap on the òòò½ÊÓÆµ app
  • Tap on the blue button to update

Fixes in our current update:

  • Pop-up box about notifications has purple text – this has been fixed and the pop-up box has been removed.
  • Back button does not always work as it should – this has been fixed.

Report from your mobile device

Requests are automatically sent to the right service team in the Council. You can follow your issue from the time it's reported, until it's resolved.

Key features include

  • Submitting your reports and requests,
  • attaching photos and using maps to pinpoint exact locations and,
  • view your submitted reports when logged in to myGovScot.

The new app is available for download on both the Google Play and Apple App Store.
