The Leith Community Grants Fund is allocated once a year by a public vote known as 'LeithChooses'. Applications for this year are from 13th August to 22nd October 2025. The theme for this year is ‘Well-being in Leith’. for more information.

Awards made in 2024/25
- Leith Runs Together: Awarded £4,800 to start a 2km Junior Parkrun in Pilrig Park for children aged 4 - 14
- Citadel Youth Centre: Awarded £3,600 for a creative intergenerational project focusing on mental health and well-being through storytelling and animation
- Nepal Scotland Association: Awarded £5,000 for running various educational and cultural programmes to celebrate diversity
- Building Bridges: Awarded £5,000 for an intercultural community festival
- Association of Ukrainians in Great Britain: Awarded £3,974 for an event celebrating Ukrainian culture
- Hibernian Community Foundation: Awarded £4,720 for a series of older persons events called ‘Community Tea Dances’
- ELREC: Awarded £4,469 for events to design a large-scale graffiti artwork involving ethnic minorities, refugees, elderly, youth, LQBTQ+ and others
- Leith Community Growers: Awarded £4,991 for the creation of community orchard garden sheds, seed library, garden infrastructure, and the delivery of workshops
- Dr Bell’s Family Centre: Awarded £4,950 to run a holiday programmes in 2025 for families in Leith with a child under 5
- Edinburgh Remakery: Awarded £4,900 for the delivery of hand craft workshops in green areas
- Broughton Primary School Parent Council: Awarded £1,333.57 for the creation of a new mural at the school to welcome people.
